December 22, 2014- Merry Christmas

 Monday we went and played dodge ball with the elders in Omaha had a good time got clocked a couple of good times really good once to the face thought i was going to have a black eye but didn't.
 Tue just worked tracted thats also the day we moved sister Gregory and went to Artlington to tract saw the Clausens they moved in a few weeks before i got here had dinner with the Franzelubbers had a good meal of Vegitarian Lezania.
Wed Zone Conference all day super good meeting i got a $5.00 gift card to jimmy Johns for my gift i gave a magnetic dart game came home had dinner with the Kluzers then went and tried a couple of Less Actives Cristal Craig and Cricket Otsbey.
Thur- we helped cricket move some stuff from here apartment to storage unit out back tried sister Golden a Less Active just shard some scriptures then saw Jane read 1 Nephi chapter 15 with her then left tracted then when we met John who we have a Book Of Mormon to and he said he would read it and we will be going back to see him this week to see what he thought and if he has any questions had dinner with the Bruners they have a sweet dodge Charger and just baught another one Saturday bright Green.
Fri- Did basically Tracting Most of the day which was alright but i wish we would have tried some Less actives or Former Investigator we did try 1 and she said after the start of the year she would like to start lesson up agian so i have a feeling her and her daughter will get baptized for sure well then we had dinner with the Roadenbaughs i am sure i spelled that wrong we had a good lesson with them about sharing our gifts and talents with others.
Saturday we again tracting for most of the day not a ton of luck but passed out a couple 3 He is the gift cards but had a good day over all.
 Sun- went to church had a great day there we had 3 less actives come this week which was just awesome had 1 investigator we had a lesson with a part member family but they cancelled on us last minute again 3 time this week but we are going to change that well i look forward to seeing you soon and talking well Love your Son and Brother Love Elder Lott

December 15, 2014

Mon- We did our deep clean and the usual laundry and stuff then went in got a car wash then i handed out 3 He Is The Gift cards to the lady working in the window of DQ was fun then picked up the Spanish Elders and went and did emails then did shopping finally went to the Church played some volleyball then had to go home to have a meeting with the Balaskis.

Tue- We went to the Orphan Grain Train and did some work there we were suppose to unload a truck but it didn't come in so we loaded boxes and stacked pallets then we went out with Jared shakespear for a while he was leaving on his mission on Wednesday of this week so we knocked some doors and tried some Less actives then we went and got some McD's for dinner got to meet a sweet family there gave then a book of mormon i tried to teach there 3 year old about jesus but she didn't rally want that to happen so we gave them a book of mormon then we left adn had a lesson with the Reinke which was strange but they said they would come to church this week.

Wed- we had District Meeting and that was really good we had some great training on the Enabling power of the atonement oh we had District breakfast before our meeting we made waffles Elder Powell got an Oloft waffle maker for his birthday from his uncle so we used that and another one the spanish elder had after we took some pictures as a district then we talked about our christmas zone conference activity we would be doing. then we went to the YSA activity that night and had cake decorated surgar cookies and i took pictures with everyone cause i though i would be leaving then we came home.

Thur- was sad we got a text telling me to start packing my bags so i did got most everything packed quickly then we went out and ate with the spanish elders got some whiskey creek i got a 20 ounce porter house steak and we had smores and talked Elder Powell and i took some pictures with a polar bear which was fun. got our hair cut then came home finished packing.

Fri- had to get up at 4:00 loaded up everything into the car and left for omaha at 5:30 to be there at 7:45 we made it on time saw some friends and got to Meet Elder Benitez my new companion from Timpie Arizona then we loaded up the truck headed home got in unloaded and did weekly planning then went out saw a few of our less actives tried a couple investigators and then that night we had dinner with the Brians who is a baker has a sweet brick oven.

Sat- went back to the Brians to help with some service we had to trench around the bakery and so we started well the ground was not level so we leveled it well it was also Frozen it was 50 out side but ground still frozen so we broke ground literally then trenched some then we hit the sewer line had to dig that up then got the trencher stuck in the trench they wanted to retrench a spot not a good idea then we came home cleaned up went out and saw sister Golden a less active had dinner with her then went out and tried a coulple of towns out side of us about 17 miles walked around saw a new family that just moved in did some tracting then came home.

Sun- went to church and had a meeting with the Branch Mission leader then we had Priesthood then sunday school then sarament meeting had some good talks on preparing for missions and also serving those around you then we went out our dinner cancelled on us but met a sweet family not members but we are going to do our best to change that well hope your all well love ya Elder Lott.
P.S our house we live with there house is build into a hill so there roof is grass and thats where they garden at.





Well as you know i am in Blair i am still the DL yes. We live with members as well its sweet the house is built into a hill so they have a garden on for a roof which is fun we have a good sized branch about 60 to 70 people or so which is good funny thing so there was a guy at church from Idaho this last Sunday and as he walked in he asked me if i knew a Ted Lott From Blackfoot and i told him it was my grandfather is last name is Burkes i will try to find out more info for you next week but i love this area so far Saturday we went to to help a family who i building a bakery in there back yard so we dug a trench and they accidentally hit the sewer line so we had to dig that up as well a lot of digging ended up with 4 blisters have not had to work this hard for quite some time was nice to do it though.

Well this week was a crazy week it was up and down talking about the weather that is it went from a great high of 75 on Saturday to a wopping Low of 11 on Sunday it was quite the change we had for sure but it was good none the less. Some great High lights of the week.

 Monday we played some Volleyball but you had to act like a Dinosaur and Elder Powell he sure got into his Dinosaur cause he was making some interesting Noises for sure but it definitely gave us all a good laugh. Then that night we were suppose to go out to Westpoint for dinner with the shakespears their son Jared who is leaving on his mission in 17 days and counting he is going to Brazil and he has been coming out with us quite a bit lately its fun.

Tue-We went and had a meeting with Nefi Palamequa this week who is our new ward Mission Leader his is a great guy so funny. Worked at the Orphan Grain Train they fed us this week we had chilli and Hawaiian sliders it was good then we unloaded a semi truck Boxed a lot of Cloths and things.

Wed- District Meeting we had a great meeting elder powell and I both trained he took a little more than his share of the time thought he is a funny kid had us all laughing in his training then I training.After we had a lesson with Jason Newmann and he has selected a day for baptism in February which we are working toward which is great. then we had to pick up Spanish Elders Dry cleaning then we went and all got Flue shots ya so while I was there I figured I would give a HE IS THE GIFT pass along card to the nurse and some guy who came and talked to us about who we were and where we are from and what not then we went to the Raya family that night in Pilger to have dinner they are funny there boys were playing Pokeymon and Elder Powell is a big fan so he was talking about that I just sat quietly and visited with the parents.

Thur-Thanksgiving well we got the sad news that we would not be able to have a turkey bowl as missionarys so we did not get to play any football this year sadly but oh well we ate with the Balaskis and it was different her husband can not have Fiber or Fat so it was a different meal for sure. Then we had round 2 with Sister Pekny and some Investigators and Less actives and we had a big meal there so much food. Then later that evening we went to Wayne to have dinner with the Wolfleys and had a steak dinner cause they didn't was us to have turkey all day the steak was so good too.

Fri- we had volleyball had a great turn out this week with lots of people had full teams on this week.

Well this week has been goodWell I am stoked for Thanksgiving this year I just pray I don't get sick thought cause that sucked last year being sick but on the up side so far I have gotten 4 invited to Homes for Thanksgiving dinner which I am so stoked for that.
Mon- Had the usual p-day nothing really to crazy but we played Signs. All of our appointments cancelled on us for the night sadly but we still made the most of it.

Tue- we went to the Grain Train and did service there had a good time unloading a Semi Trainer of pallets loaded up with cardboard boxes and a couch other desk and some tables and chairs but got it all don't boxed up some other clothes and things like that which was good I love working there its always a great time. then the Spanish elder were on exchanges with the Zone leaders and since they don't have a car we are taking them around with us and so we both had dinner appointments in Westpoint with Familys well our family had to cancel last minute but the other family invited us to eat with them so it worked out
Wed- No district Meeting but Elder Powell and I went on exchanges with the Zone Leaders and we had a great day we tried a couple of Potentials and while we were Knocking the House they drove in man what a great way to meet them haha it was good I gave him a book of Mormon and He said we could come by around 11 to catch him. Then we Tried Savanna one of Aunt Jills Friends well they were not home but here Husband came home to greab something while we were there so got to talk for a minute with him. had a lesson with Bro. Bronziski talked about conference.

Thur- We had Zone Training so we went to Sioux City for the day Bro. Cowan drove us all down had a great couple 3 trainings by the Zone Leaders and Sister Training Leaders on Family History and Obedience.

Fri- had to got to westpoint again with Bro. Holt for dinner with the Nelson Family but they didn't have dinner done when we got there so we went to Pizza hut and ate well Found out that the waitress was a Less active Member so I gave her our number. Elder Powell and myself went to Sioux City again cause I had a meeting in Omaha so we stayed with the Zone Leaders that night.

Sat- Went to Omaha were we got to hear from another Area 70 Elder Martino he came down and Spoke to all the Leaders of the mission so The Zone Leaders District Leaders and Sister Training Leaders all got to go it was a very good Meeting. It was a great meeting one thing he talked about was the  "HE IS THE GIFT VIDEO"

Sun- had a great meeting Bro. Palemeque is our new Ward Mission Leader now had Lunch with The Jimenez family had Fish Tocos they were really good. Visited with Brice Howard and took him to church for evening sacrament I spoke and Jason a investigator came this week again.

Well this week was just amazing it started off crazy so its been cold here every day has been under 20 degrees and it really has not been to bad for me as long as the wind is not blowing to hard.
Mon- We were suppose to meet at the church well by the time ever one showed up to be there we had to leave for our dinner appointment we had with the Balaskis but it was sister Peknys birthday and so we had a little party with her and had cake and gave her our cards we made then we went had dinner then after that we had a family home evening with Shayla Maas and Her Mom it was good we talked about being thankful for what we  have and so we wrote down 100 things we are thankful for. Oh we also got the first snow fall of the year that night as well so we had a small snowball fight.

Tue- we again more snow went to Orphan Grian Train and did our service they fed us again this week we had chilli and roles then we moved around a couple of offices for a lady they should have just had her in there not 10 other people directing us on where to move this and put that but we got it done to their satisfaction so it was good.

Wed- we had an alright day seemed like everyone was avoiding us we went to Wayne and had dinner with the Wolfleys they are a funny family they just moved her form Arizona and there son is great he was telling me about how he wants to bow hunt ( his dad has never hunted ) but he is not against it just has never done it but he showed me how he would take an arrow out of his quiver and shoot so great and he wanst to go sledding for the first time he loves the snow. then we had the YSA activity talked about ways to help build our spiritual Foundations and played Mofia.
Thur- we headed to Council Bluffs Iowa for Mission Tour we had Elder Nielson and his wife come speak to us it was amazing.
Fri- Was the Meeting and drove home.
but things are good the best part we had a sweet Mission Tour with Elder Nielson of the Area Seventy and him and his wife spoke to us and they were amazing. Then we drove home that night tried to do weekly Volleyball no one showed up but that night the Spanish Elders Were rear ended by a truck they are safe and were not hurt at all but the car is another story it smashed up the trunk and bumper really well.
Sat- had a great lesson with one of the balaskis friends Dan Mulbaour.

Well this week has been super amazing for me let me begin
Mon- Was kind of a crazy day we just relaxed bing it was just the Spanish Elders Wilson and Sharp and Elder Powell and Myself so we just hung out and watched a Book of Mormon Movie and then we went to have a lesson with Brianna and her Roommate Breanna and her boyfriend Correy we taught the Restoration to them gave out two BofM almost had Brianna set for Baptism but we need to work out a few things. Then we went to the Balaskis to have Family Home Evening but sadly we missed dinner cause some one didn't tell us to be there at 6:00 but we did get told 7 so missed a salmon dinner for Sally's Birthday Party dinner.

Tue. we went to Omaha for the Departing Testimony for Sister Beck who went Home this week she went home to Idaho Falls of all places kind of cool well but an amazing testimony meeting during that time it was a packed place with 18 missionary's going home 3 being Elders crazy Oh also while at Departing Testimony I saw elder Bascom my MTC COMP and Elder Hansen his trainer. Also saw a lot of other great Elders I have had the Pleasure of serving around. Then we headed Home got in about 12:30 that next morning so we stayed the Night at the Spanish's apartment and went to District meeting with 4 elders it was good though a lot abut setting goals.

Transfers happened and guess is now the District Leader out in Norfolk ya ya I am pumped to be the District Leader! then Elder Wilson Left to Iowa and Elder Saunders Replaced him. And Sister Riedhead is Training Sister O'Connell From Las Vegas Nevada she has been cold since she got here but things are good I am staying. Oh yes so I got to meet Sister Fuller and her family well she has finished her mission and going home Jones Brother so I got to visit with him and he sent a picture to ben cause I don't have Dads New Cell Number Memorized yet but just working hard seeing some wonderful Miracles we have a Baptismal Set for Dec. 6th Cheri Carolsen and just have some other promising one to be set soon well I love you all Love Elder Lott.

Well this week was good I didn't know they did not send I was cut off getting everyone attached to the email I thought it had sent though. Well this week we had a good time for p-day we wnt to Wal-Mart and we had a scavenger hunt we went around the store and found 10 random things then changed carts and raced to see who could get them all put way the fastest. Then we went to the church and made ty-died shirts with cool-aid and then played some dodge ball and volleyball and some made friend ship bracelets. After we went to the McClain with the Balaskis  to have FHE. We talked a lot about Prayer then we went to see sister Brown to Celebrate her Birthday and she was funny we talked about conference with her then we went home. Tue- we went to the Spanish Apartment and had lunch then we went to the Grain Train and unloaded 2 semi trailers which were not in good condition everything was rotten and rusted from the water that had gotten in then we all raced back to the main building in wheel chairs which was fun. Wed- we had District Meeting and the Zone Leaders were down so we went tolunch with them at the Grainery and it was really good food got some Onion rings and a chicken sandwich was good. after we went and did some tracting and then went to the wilkers and had dinner then Both Elder Powell and Myself got hair cuts as my mother would say I was beginning to look like a clown with curly hair 12 weeks was a little long for no hair cuts but looking good now. Thur- we went on Exchanges with the Zone Leaders but while we were chilling at the Apartment some how a little wrestling match got started and well white shirts were no longer just white but it was fun then we all went out and I went with elder Pulver and elder Powell was with Elder Jensen and we saw a couple of Less Actives and a investigator named Alfrado we read Alma ch. 19 with him went and did some tracting gave out a couple 3 Mormon.org cards and then we went to help them load up all there stuff then we headed home. Fri- We went out to dig a trench in the balaski yard you all might ask why? well they had a shop built this week and so to got power to it then needed a trench so we dug it for them and went out we stopped at a couple of places to see if anyone carried Rocky Mtn. Oysters well no body does and the only guy I found who could get me some was way to much he had a 20LB box for $60.00 which I told him I couldn't do now why would I look for this well elder Wilson has never had then before so I wanted to get him some before transfers this week happens well I will have to work fast now I got 3 days to find some. we went and gave Lynda and Leon both Blessing and she told me that she has FINISHED THE BOOK OF MORMON!!!! its crazy but due to his health problems we are having troubles with catching them on a regular basis but we are going to get it worked out sooner or later. then we the Elders went to Sakura a sushi and steak house so we all tried sushi well it was alright but wow I will need to not eat that very much kind of expensive for what you get it was good though I got a California role and a salmon avocado role and some fried rice which was good they cooked it all in front of you too. then we went to see sister Adams talked about conference with her and church. then we went to have a lesson with Jason Newmann we talked about faith and  how we gain faith then had a family home evening with some of the YSA group which was fun we roasted marshmallows I am out of time I love you all went to stake conference and had a blast there wish I could tell you more I love Elder Lott

Mon- We all went to the church and we worked on Decorating our Planners and also we made Rice Bags our of old shirts its nice mine is Bat Man symbol. After our plans for FHE got cancelled so we watched a mormon Message with the spanish Elders and a Investigator adn her sister who is a member.

Tue- We went to the Grain Train we had lunch for helping to set upn and take down for their convention a couple of weeks ago and well one got dropped on the floor but still got eaten all the same and then we got to work and then Elder Powell and myself had to leave to go to Wayne to Help Sister Ellis Move she is going to Seattle Washington to retire so we loaded her truck or more so i would say i Loaded her truck and to her like as well. then we had to run backto Norfolk to make our Dinner apointment well we were a little late adn they ate with out us but it was good we had shrimp cooked in Lime Juice only Problem Elder Powell hates shrimp but ate it anyways.

Wed- We didnt have Districe Meeting Due to Zone Training being this week so we went to Break Fast instead which was good i had 2 busiket sasage sandwitches and eggs and Potatoes was really good we i played this little game with sister Reidhead where you slide a paket of jam accross teh table and who ever gets it half way over the edge wins well i was not doing so hot and ate 6 then i won 1 and also had a class of cold water dumped in my lap from sister Beck good times. Then we went out and tried a few people stopped by Bro. Dryaks and he had us pick some of his Q-combers and he had about 6 little balls we got for him then he asked us to dig it up so we did well i did the whole thing before elder powell got very far. then we called some people off of our phone and seeing what # are good and which ones are bad had a lot of no good ones.

Thur- We went to Siox City for Zone Training it was good we learnd about makeing plans for our goals which was good and asking Inspired questions and then we came home we got some food when we got back to the Apartment and then we went out and saw Margie with Bro. Birdwell and we had a good lesson with her and i gave her a blessing to quite smoking then we went and saw a less active Bro. Don he was having a bad day his wrist was hurting him had been in his recliner all day. offered him a blessing he said he had so many he was not sure if they worked so we told him they only work through your faith still didnt want one.

Fri- We had desided to fast and so we did went to the Church with brother bird well agian to have a lesson with Jason Newmann it was good we talked about Fasting and committed himto fast this last Sunday adn he agreed to do so as well as go to Omaha to see Meet The Mormons. we tried Jesenya and a lady Elder Powell and Elder Pulver tracketed into last week Caren. She wasnt home so we Walked aroudn looking for those we could help offered to help a family with a move they said they were good but one guy he asked if he could meet with us some time so wer got his # to call him this week.

Sat- we went to Omaha to see Meet the Mormons With Jason NewMann on of our Investigators and he really enjoyed the movie after we went to the Trail center and took a tour of that went through the Cemetary and walked the Temple grounds and went into the Waiting area adn he got a Ensign on the temples and just had a wonderful time. Oh i was the Sutherland branch at teh trail center thery were haveing a ward temple trip.

Sun- was good no one came to church investigator wise but it was good.

Hello well it was crazy this week we had a lot of Celebarting for first Elder Wilsons Birthday was the first of the Month so we had a party for him. Distict Meeting was great Elder Sharp gave a training. Elder Wilson also gave a training his was on the Holy Ghost and how we need to use the correct name for him as we teach investigators and members.Then comes My Year Mark wow has time been flying by well went out to Lunch with Elder Jensen got chinese where I saw President Maxwell again it was nice to see him agin. Went on exchanges with Jensen he is an amazing elder i lvoe getting to go out with him he is from Cali and goes home in Jan. Then we went for Dinner with the Zone Leaders Elder Jensen and Pulver and Elder Powell of course my self we went to Whiskey Creek i got a Steak an had a good time visiting with them. We Had to take the truck out and get it dirty a little for Elder Jensen cause Truck + Boys + mud = Fun!!! but had fun tracking we placed a book of mormon to a girl who lives in Omaha she was up babysitting for her sister. Then we went out and Invited everyone we could to come to Conference. We had a good visit with a less active Aubrey Knudsen we shared Alma 34:32-34 and how we need to read our scriptures more.
 well even after inviting everyone and getting a lot of we will be theres not many came we had Nick Runyan he came and a Less Active Bro Bronzinski. had a chili feed for luch on saturday with the elders and sister and Nick then sunday we got invited to go have lunch with the Farnswarths they are moving to Iowa for his Job sadly but its a good move for him and his family. Used a part of a talk saturday night on Sister Balaski she wasnt going to come have evening pray with us so i told brother balaski to go ask her what was more important Prayer or Fruit haha she came out and had prayer after 5 minutes but did come well i hope your all doing well and oh i got to meet Jills Friend Savanna she came out to visit 11 years ago and she remembered you both mom and dad we are going to try her agina this week well love you all Love  Elder Lott.

Well this week had been really good here it is!!

Mon- we went and got our emails done after went and did some shopping for the day didn't get to much but after we went to the church and wrotle some letter while we waited for everyone to show up after they all got there we played some Horse- Clue- Mexican Trains, Had a lesson with Bro. Don we went over Mosiah 2:41 and he says he really liked the scripture I was a little worried the last time some one shared that scripture he through them out so it must have been the right time for him to hear it again.

Tue- Went to the Grain train and helped them set up for there Convention this week, after we went and had dinner with Sister Nevarez and he Boy friend Brandon Moon had some good food after we had a little lesson I asked Brandon what he thought about modern day prophets and if  he would like to hear what they had to say he said yes then I brought up General Conference then he said he was going to pleade the 5th on the subject so we shared a scripture with her then had to leave she had some school work to get done .

Wed- We had district meeting and had it a little early we had to help a member move into West point  but after we got done we got a call saying they would be a little late so we went and played an old Monopoly game we got from the Grain train and then we got ready to leave met up at the church and Bro. Cowan took us down we loaded in his couches and bed a couple chairs then we were done so we headed back home then we called around to see who would be available to got to The YSA activity had a couple show up one named Drew Holland got to Loan him a BofM he said he would read it then we came  home.

Thur- We had a busy day of tracting as we walked to appointment s and had some success but they said they were happy in there church for now.

Fri- we got a call saying we were needed to help with some finsh work for the Grain Train put up some Quilts they were going to oction off there were nice then we were put up a bannor we were joking around we would joust with the Poles we used to set up the Quilt display well my companion sat on the P>E>T an broke it so we will have to fix it this week some time well I am out of time sorry love you all love Elder Lott

I did not get transferred!!!!!!!!!!!


Well this week was a great week let me see if I can remember everything.

Mon- we just had a relaxing day we played games started with the Flower Game (Flour Game)  I was glad to see that I was not the only person who's family played that for FHE. Elder Wilson's did as well. It was good I was one of the only ones who did not have to dig in the flower so I guess all the practice really payed off ha-ha. then later that night we had some of Kaylani's friends come over to play baseball with rotten Fruit well it was alright the Eggs were not somuch fun but I had a great laugh when Sister Reidhead hit Elder Wilson in the mouth with an egg though.

Tue- we went to the Orphan Grain Train and we painted some stairs and the yellow Lines that are out front of the big Unloading Dock. While I was painting I happened to find a Praying Mantice so I caught it and put it in a bottle so we could put it in with Enou's out other Praying Mantice. so we named him Little Wilson and we found out he was a male and well Enou's ate Little Wilson. so after we got done with the OGT we went on exchanges I went with Elder Sharp we went to our dinner appointment with the Brovants and they were not home so we were going to have Mexican food seeing as how it was Mexican Independence Day well Dannys Toco's was closed so while we decided where to go we got a call from sister Brovant asking if we could come back she had just gotten back from the Hospital and we said yes and went over they ordered Pizza so we talked then ate then we went over Ether Chapter 12 that they left for her to  read and then we went over Mosiah ch. 2:41 then left her to read Chapter 2 for when we come the next time. Fter that we went to try an investigator named Patton Toon he was working on the truck he had just gotten so we helped him switch the tool box over to the new truck. Oh then on the way home we stopped at the church to Pick up some Lecha and I found and caught the biggest wolf spider ever it barley fit in the cup so we saved him to show everyone at district meeting.

Wed- We had district meeting Elder Wilson gave some good training and we had a great Testimony meeting really good after we watched Enou's eat some Moths and I showed everyone the Spider and well sister Reidhead is Terrified of spiders so you can only imagine how much fun she had with the big guy. After we went to have lunch at the Spanish elders apartment and there Neighbor came over to ask if we could fix their TV they were not getting any sound coming out so I went over and hooked it up for then and invited them Both to the YSA activity it was funny they are both named BREANNA, BRIANNA and well we are both ELDER AND ELDER I just thought that was to funny. Had a great turn out for the YSA well our investigator Nick came and he was the only guy besides us elders with 10 girls it was 10 to 1 but we had fun playing signs.

Thur- we had deep clean for transfers so we cleaned the house and then went into town saw a few people then we went to Wayne for the rest of the night and had a good visit with Sister Parker and her family then we tried calling a few collage students we had on our ward Roster got hold of two of the three and they both said that we could see them next time we are in town.

Fri- We went out to lunch with an investigator Devin Anderson went to El Rodeo had some great food after we went to see Margie and had a good talk with her she is reading the book of Mormon so she started off with the Testimony of the Prophet Joseph smith. thought that nephi was commanded to kill his brother Laman not king Laban mixed up the names and some other funny question I don't have the time to mention all of them.

Sat- We had our Mexican Fiesta for Mexican Independence Day was amazing we had great food had Menudo ( Cow stomach) Not to bad funny it was made by a Jamaican rather than a Hispanic but had a sweet Mariachi band and just a lot of fun great people and amazing food.

Sun- we not as great we did not have anyone show up for church very sad about that but we will get them here this week. we went to lunch with the Jiménez family we had Crab and shrimp Tacos were really good after that we had a get together with some ward members and some investigators and just a good time evening sacrament was food no one really showed up we were suppose to have a LA come but she never did but other than that this week was just amazing hope yall are doing great Love Elder Lott

Well this week has been just amazing...

Well so on Monday we got invited to go out to Niobrara to visit a monument for Elder Powell cause he is related to Newel Night who the Monument is for we that was sweet then we went to the state park and saw the Mormon Cannel they dug by hand. thanks to he Balaskis they took us up then when we returned home we had to catch up with the Spanish Elders so head out to West Point were we had dinner with the Shakespeare family and we taught one of their daughters friends and gave her a book of Mormon.

We went to the Orphan Grain Train and Elder Powell and myself were to go with Paul to get a Hospital bed and bring back well we got lost and then we found were we were going but Paul would not listen to me about where to go then I finally got through to him and we found the place got the bed and dropped if off the wear house.

Wed- we had district meeting and had some great trainings given by Elder Wilson we went over Adjusting to Missionary Life and what we need to sacrifice to be able to come closer to the lord and its been tuff to do so far but we are getting them done. We went and did some service then we went to eat with Sister Nevarez she made some great stuffed chicken rapped in bacon then we left and went to the YSA activity and they had Hamburgers and all sorts of great food so and we threw the football around and played a little Frisbee and apples to apples before we headed home.

Thur- We had a lesson with Jason and taught him the Restoration which went well and we set him for baptism on Oct. 4th he is reading the book of Mormon and has been sober from drinking and doing other hard drugs which is very great am very impressed he is doing so good going cold turkey. Went and cleaned up a yard full of apples for a family nasty rotten apples too.

Fri- we had soccer and had a good turn out with a lot of investigators and non- member and it was just a lot of fun to be able to enjoy a beautiful day. also did service at Grain Train again.

Sat- we had a wonderful Lesson with the Bailey family they moved in are from Idaho Falls and an amazing family there girls come to play soccer ever week so we taught them the story of The Brother Of Jared and it was good used Glow Sticks to see if they could us faith to make them glow and then we challenged them to bear there testimony's at church the next day.

Sun- went to church and Both Sister bailey and her oldest Daughter both bore there Testimony and it was amazing sister bailey told me her daughter had never done it before so we are glad that we followed the spirit and taught the right lesson for their family.

September 2, 2014

well I am sorry that the last few week we have been so crazy and not been able to give out a good email but we have time today to send it out so this last week Monday we just chilled at sister Peknys and wrote letters and things Elder Wilson and I made some chicken noodle soup for everyone well it was not noodle soup due to sister Beck is Celiac and cant have Gluten so we used Zucchinis for noodles and after we got done we had to go to Beemer and have dinner with Dolly Jackson so we did not get to eat any of it but the sisters said that it was very good. and I was able to meet Mary Jo's Brother  and we went to lunch and just had a good time visiting with him.

Tue- We went out to the Grain Train and Started packing Blankets into New boxes to send out to people in need we got about 2 pallets filled and then Elder Powell and myself went and helped Doug pick up some thing that they were putting into a Trailer house Church they were building to send to Pilger the town that got Blown away in the tornado right before I got here to Norfolk. Then Elder Wilson and I went out on Exchanges and had a good lesson with Nick. We went over why we talk about the Priesthood so much and how the line goes from the Prophet on down and then asked him some questions about Lay ministry and things like that loaned him a few videos on Joseph smith and his Martyrdom. Also we went to a Potential Investigators House for dinner the Kumm family and we had Hamburgers then he asked us all sorts of questions about were we were from and things to get to know us better and then we Bore our Testimonies about why we are on Missions then we tried a few other people before we went in for the Night.

Wed- We had District Meeting and I gave a training on Why Jesus was such a perfect example of a Preach My Gospel Missionary and talked a lot about having Christ Like attributes and things like that. After we talked about good food we could make for each other when we didn't have dinner appointments. and then the Spanish elders got a call telling them they were getting kicked out of there member housing and that we would have to go check out an apartment when we got out of our meeting. Then we went and saw the Nevarez and committed them to read the book of Mormon with us we are going to read it as mission by Christmas so they agreed to try and we started a week ago if anyone would like to do it with us we read 6 pages a day and Circle every time the words Christ, Lord, Heart, and the atonement are talked about. we are on page 45 as of today.

Thur- we had to run up to Wayne and see the Parkers and give a blessing to Nichole before they headed out on there trip to Florida. we came home and met up with the Elders and Sister and Finished some work at the Grain Train then we went and saw Estefan he is a Less Active and had been having a tuff day due to him and his Girlfriend breaking up but it is for the better she was keeping him from coming to church and he is coming now. and we also Saw 2 other Less actives Bro. Don Bronzinski and the Reinke family Brother Don I read 1 Nephi about Nephi breaking his bow cause he though he broke his hand and how we need not murmur when we are given trials. the Reinkes we talked about going to church and the Importance it is in our lives and what we miss when we are not there.

Fri- We had our Weekly Planning session and got a text asking us to meet at Burger King to have lunch with Sister Pekny and had a good time visiting with her and after that we went out to Try Justin Alner and he did not answer due to the fact he owes his Neighbor 10 bucks and doesn't want to pay him so he didn't know if it was us or him knocking. then tried Tim his Neighbor not the one he owes money to but he was not there for us to see so we went out and Trackted for a while with not a lot of luck but did  meet a really nice guy who talked with us for about 15 minutes. then we went and changed and played Soccer and Jacob, Ty and Aaron all came back this week as well so we are going to try to start teaching them all and Jason also called and told us he is ready to start taking the  Lessons now so we will be seeing him tomorrow.

Sat- again we had to run to Wayne to help Move a family into an apartment then in 2 months time we will move them into there house but it was alright and when we got back into Norfolk we went to help the Spanish Elders get all moved into there apartment. then we went to dinner with the Jimenez family and had some tocos and they were Tongue and Intestines. after dinner we ran up to the Hospital and gave sister Wilson a blessing she was having heart Problems and had a good little visit with her then we headed home.

Sun- We had church and had two good talks by the Wolfy family who just moved in from Arizona a few months ago. she talked on Obedience and he talked on following the Commandments and how they are only there to bless us and need to do what the lord says and prove him see if he will give us the blessing he promises and they will come to us like he says.

So well this week has been crazy taking over an area after 6 weeks has been quite the challenge for me but here is what we have been doing so far.

Mon- We went to the Zoo and had a blast getting to see all the amazing animals. Got a sweat Video of the Gorilla charging at us and Hitting the Glass with have to get it sent off some how to you but its was crazy.

Tue- We Went to the church and had a Lesson with Nick he had some questions about Joseph Smith and we talked and then i asked if he would like to watch the Restoration and some other Videos we had on Joseph Smith he said yes. Then we went out to the Grain Train and Helped them clean out a extra Building they had so they could store more things it that they needed out of there way. after that we went to meet Elena Chaves Sister who was in Town and when doing so we saw Kristen and had her come over we read the scriptures with her and i committed her to come to church and she agreed Then we had a lesson with the Reinkes and we went over the 10 Commandments and How we need to Honor our Parents even when they are not around.

Wed- We had Zone Training in Soux City and had a great meeting with everyone out there and then had a long drive home after that when we got Home our dinner appointment Cancelled on us.

Thur- We were supose to have Exchanges with the zone Leader but they had some stuff come up and were not able to do it with us. So we went out and saw Sister Nevares and talked with her about coming back to church and reading the scriptures adn then we cleaned out there fish tank for them. After that visit we went and gave a blessing to Donna L. She had gotten Cellulitice from her cat scratching her and then we went to the Jimenes for dinner had chicken Salad sandwitches and they were really good.

Fri- We started off with weekly planning and then we had Linda and Leon planned to see them at 1 well right as we got to there house they called and said it would not be a good day for a visit Due to his Cancer and they changed his pain pills and what not so went and saw Jessy and Margie and Linda (Jessys sister but not Leons wife) they gave us some food so we took it to Elena she needed some Food due to just starting a new job and things and had a really good conversation with Justice and are planning on having another lesson with him we gave him and his Girlfriend Both Book of Mormons and Restoration Pamphlets then we had a Lesson with Jesenya and Went really well set her for Baptism and invited her Kids to come to soccer and they came had a great time and loved it her kids are super great kids.

Sat- We had visits with Justin Alner he is a Inactive Member but working on getting him to come everyother week for now couse he goes with him mom to her church when she doesnt work but had a good lesson with him. then had one with Shayla Maas and Justin met him at soccer then night before and he asked us why we were so dedicated to teh work we were doing to come out for 2 year and committed him to read and pray about the book of Mormon he says he will.

 Sun- we had about 6 investigators who told us they would be there on sunday and they all didnt show up sadly but we still had a good time at church they talked a lot about Fasting.

Well I got big News for everyone this week was transfers and well Elder Hansen was sent to Deer creek in Omaha and well yours truly is yep TRAINING ya buddy his name is ELDER POWELL from Lehi Utah and well so far things have been great not much has gone on Thursday I got the call from President Weston and Friday morning found myself driving to Omaha and Droppping off Elder Hansen and Picking up Elder Powell.

As for the week we went to the Zoo today for P-day so another trip to Omaha and had a blast well  that took up most of the day now we are out of time but wanted to let everone know the big news and have a sweet video of a gorilla attacking the glass to get us I will try to share but love you all Love Elder Lott

August 4, 2014

Well this week was not the most exciting to have happened so far but in all the same it was good.

Mon- we went and played Frisbee Golf and had a blast well we decided to go big and play on the Pro pad well bad idea cause the water is a crappy place to have your disk land well elder Hansen had bought a brand new disk and well 2 throws in and its a goner sadly well to chear him up I did the same thing only mine I was able to save but it was so much fun only problem was everyone must have forgot you are going for the net not Sister Beck she was hit hard about 5 times.

Tue- Went to the Grain Train and Elder Hansen and I got to load up a big garbage trailer with old desks and TV's and things well the best part was breaking them all up into pieces then after that we went and got fixed up and jumped on the Bikes and headed out tried a Investigator Alfrado and he was not going to be able to visit cause he was working on his wifes car then we went and saw Sally haha Sister Balaskis sister Sally she gave us a bunch of stuff from her garden to take to her sister well we made it about half way when by bag broke open I guess jumping curbs and stuff was not the best idea but was still fun that night had a lesson with the Rienkes family and taught about the Importance of church attendace.

Wed- We had district meeting and had a sweet time there Elder Hansen and Wilson trained then we had a sweet lesson with Nick, who never really would talk about baptism with us but got him in the church and things just worked out he is ready just not sure if he will be here or in Lincoln but what ever happens, happens I guess then we went out to Stanton and had a great lesson with the Baracks and came home.

Thur-  Was not a very good day for us we had a lot of good things planned out but most of them had fallen through but got to go over to the Nevares for dinner she is a L.A. but her boy friend is not a member so we were able to teach him some and gave him a book of Mormon and he told us he wont read and he is just putting on a tough guy act for now.

Fri- Was kinda crazy we got to be with sharp while Wilson went to Omaha for a meeting and we did our weekly planning then we had a service project for the Cartellas who needed their dog shaved well I don't know if many people have shaved a freaking mammoth before it will give you a work out for sure but they really appreciated us helping with it even thought I told them I had not done it before. Then we had soccer and that was fun had a ton of people show up this time had to have two teams on two fields which was nice.

Sat- Went on exchanges with Wilson and we helped a Potentioal Move her Fridge and washer and dryer into her new house then we asked her if she was interested in leaning more said yes. Then we saw Estivan who is L.a. and he wasntus to start teaching his girlfriend but sorry out of time

July 28, 2014

So monday was terrible so humid after playing softball for 10 minutes being the catcher i was soaking in sweat was bad but still had a great time being out after all the excitment of trying to catch turtles and what not we had a sweet lesson with Nancy we were planning on tlking about the importance of reading and praying to know of the truth well about 10 minutes into our lesson a Mom and her daughter came into the chappel and sat right behind our investigator so our lesson didnt work quite like we had planned but got most of it done.

Tue- We went to the Grain Train moved Desks loaded them onto Palets and then banded them on. after that we had to go help a lady named Norma she was moving out and old recliner and getting two new ones so we moved them out and back in then went over helped margie with a couple of things and got changed went over and gave Linda and Leyon both Blessing it was amazing after we got done Leyon was like i am so warm so we explained why after we had them read 3 Nephi 11:3 which they said they enjoyed very much had dinner and went over to the YSA activity and played Frisbeegolf with frisbee haha so we were looking very bad but had fun doing it.

Wed- we had President Interviews which was very nice always enjoy getting to visit with president Weston such a great man i love him so much some of the things he has asked us to do is to be praying at least 30 time a day yes it works let me tell you. After intervies we went to see the browns she was feeling well used so  Elder Hansen and i offered to take her assignment of making a cake for her and we did turned out perfect Lanae you would have been Proud of it haha.

Thur- we loaded up a Uhal for teh Dartman family they moved down to Omaha. then had District meeting.

Fri- went on exchanges with the Zone Leader Elder Pulver and Jensen was fun i went with Jensen and he is from California great missoinary love that kid got to tract into a couple spanish guys he is a spanish missionary so he talked with them i listened then found out a Less Active lived there help the Booth family move there mother into a different Nursing home after her husband have her a heart attack and had to have a triple bypass then went to soccer had to much fun there no injurys this time.

Sat- we had planned for a sweet lesson with Kristen we were going to set ehr for baptism but didnt work out due to the invorment of what was going on in the appartment so we are no longer going to meet there so we can have the spirit next time had a dinner appointment with the Romero's we had Intestines which were not bad could have been less chewy though but was good.

Sun- had church no investiagtors came sadly but had a good activity at a members house had a little dinner then we watched a video and went to Evening sacrament got a ride home with a kid who just fixed up his car and we ran out of gas when we got to the gas station he didnt how what to put in the car but we made it home.

the sweet week

Tue- Was the best Elder Hansen and myself were able to go to the Omaha Temple with a Less Active Nichole Parker it was so great to be able to attend that with her also had a suprise visiter Bro.DeYoung showed up too kinda cool to meet him he went home with my Daddy Bro. Pancheri.

Wed- Had District Meeting had some good trainings by Elder Wilson and by Sister Reidhead they were really good on christ like attrabutes and Helping our Investigators see there potential. Later that night we tried a Guy Devin who we had met at the Liberary but not really talked with i dont think he is able to be baptized though not sure he is accountable as of at this point.

Thur- was exchanges  i went with elder sharp and we went to see bro.Dryack and cut up a tree for him and then cleaned out his gutter he thinks they need borded up casue of his pigeon problem but i told him to just get a BB. gun and get rid of them for good and i dont think he will but oh well. after that we went to Margies and had a good lesson with her taught about Word of Wisdom and Tithing. after that we went out to West Point had dinner with the Shakespears family had a lesson about Miracles and making sure we write them down in our journals and such.

Fri- we had weekly planning which took a long time but got out helped margie clean out a storage unit then tried a couple of less actives and got changed and headed out to soccer and well not many people showed up but some teenagers did so we asked them to play and they agreed well one of the sister decided that everyone should take off our kleats so we dont step on any of the little ones feet well what ended up happening while sliding around elder hansen had gone for the ball the kid fell and well they kicked and the other boys toe we think may have been broke from it but we invited them all back and hope they show so we shall see.

Sat- we had a great lesson with Linda and Leyon were we talked about faith and exersising it to help us know what is right. then we talked about blessing and fasting we are going to fast on wednes day night and give him a blessing on thurday mornign hope it goes well. Has our pioneer day pary and had a good turn out to that we had Margie show up and she brought a good friend with her and that was good had some sweet music going form a Local DJ in the ward GO brother Shakespear man can move then we cleaned up and headed home.

Sun- was great also because Margie came to church which she said she NEVER WOULD  so we were very happy about that going on thanks to ELder Hansen givijng a talk we used that to our advatage which worked but thats the first one he has given in over a year of being out but he was able to give it twice thought thanks to Evening sacrament but in all i would say it was a great week. Well this week has been very good just a great one so let me tell you all about it.

Mon- was nothing to crazy I did buy a nerf gun to shoot everyone when we got together same old me hahabut after that elder Hansen and I went to brother Huserak's to clean out some pigeon nest well they had filled his gutters full of CRAP and lone behold I got to clean them out nasty I wasnted to kill the stupid things but he said no so anyways that was that.


Tue- Was very busy we went to the Orphan Grain Train and we put boxes on Pallets for them to ship out and just worked for while it was fun then that night everything fell threw for us so we when to the Balaskis to help move some dirt for them so we did for a little while.

Wed- we went to Soix City for zone training and Bro. Cowan took us it was fun we had some good trainings on being more obedient which we all need to be after we got home at about 5 my companion was not feeling well but we pushed through it and headed out and saw a few Less Actives.

Thur- We went to help a Potenial Investigator and we helpled him lay some Bricks for his walk way to the back patio of his house then we went out on exchanges with the Zone Leader it was fun I went with Elder Jensen he is a great Elder I was very impressed with how well he was at door aproches but we had a good time walking around talking with people had a couple of crazy ones but we didn't say long with them but enjoyed the day.

Fri- We had weekly planning session and that took up most of the day for us trying to get the Area book all updated and stuff takes time when one works on it cause idont know anyone to update info on them but it was good that night we went to play soccer ever Friday night well we had a good turn out and played hard I was soaked form head to toe in sweat I don't like this humidity very much but it was super fun one of the sister (sister beck) kick the ball and hit this little boy in the head and nocked him off his feet it was sweet!! then after we got home I drank to much water and ended up throwing it all back up like 20 minutes later haha.

Sat- we went to see the Miltans they are kind of a crazy family he doesn't think he needs religion but his wife and daughter does he was quite the carater for sure but we are going to give them to the sister they said that would be better for them to see the sister missonarys then we had a planning meeting at the church and went to a birthday party for a recent converts daughters birthday party was fun then went to a softball game a member was playing in for state then went home.

Sun- we had 3 investiagators show up to church which was good one of which we had been fasting with so he could get a for sure answer and didn't get much of a chance to talk with him yet but we plan on it soon well I hope Yall are well love elder Lott.

Wow this week was crazy and went by so fast so here it goes.

Mon well as you all might know i stated the most excitement on last weeks but we were in a tornado warning it never touched down in the town but it did end up touching down out side of town about 3 miles so that was good no one was hurt but it was quite exciting to see how real and fast that they happen. the rest of the day was spent shopping and then just playing games at the church house with the spanish elders and sisters Elder Wilson and sharp wilson is from Alaska and sharp is from Idaho Preston area Sister Reidhead who i came out with is from Souther Utah Canab sister beck is from Idaho Falls Idaho. Also had family home evening with the Balaskis and Nancy our investigator had a good time talking with her we talked about church and prayer committed her to continue reading and praying to know if baptism is right for her.

Tue- we went to the Grain train and gave some service and just helped load up some trucks that would be taking Cloths and all sorts of stuff to people who are in need. then we went to the Farnsworths and had a great lesson with there kids we did the storie of the brother of Jared and it was sick thanks to glowing paint haha but was good.

Wed- we had district meeting which was good i gave a training on how we can use the Book of Mormon more in our areas and i learned a lot of things i that i need to do myself and just enjoyed studying that topic

Thur- we went with Bro. Cowan to Wayne to visit a couple people out there saw Nichol and went to another ladys house to help her get her set up for going to the Temple then we had to come home and we had dinner with the Bishop Wilkers family who moved to Norfolk about a year ago for Pocatello Idaho it was fun to talk with him and his family was well.

Fri- Went over to the tractor pull which was going on in town but we did not know until we were out side asking what was making all the rucas and the balaskis told us it was a tractor pull and that we were not allowed to go so on our way out of town we had to stop by and check it out. then went and talked to Margie and Jessie which is who introduced us to Suisy then we went to dinner with the Syrmanskis had a nice time vistiting with them.

Sat- Saturday was strange here so they dont do the big firework show here on the 4th crazy right they wait until the 5th to do it they call it the Big Bang Boom and saddly i did not get to see any fire works this year they started after curfew so that was kinda sad but oh well for this one. We got to teach a lady Suisy she is recovering from using pills and we had a good talk with her gave her a book of mormon and a addiction recovery book for her to help her while she is gone for a while.
 
Sun- was great we got to church and had been texting and calling people trying to see who would be coming and Nancy texted and said she would be there and she did show up it was great we got out of a meeting and there she was talking with brother Balaski she enjoyed Fast and Testimony Meeting and then left she is taking the 3 hours slow but was glad she came. then had a good example of a member missionary this lady Elena chavez brought a friend to church and she had 2 others ask if her if they could come but she was scared of everyone getting up set with her for bringing to many people but we laughed and told her to bring everyone who wants to come she works at Mc D's and i think she might convert the place its sweet. Had a great lesson with Linda and Leyon and invited them to read and pray to know if the Book of mormon is true and if baptism is something god wants them to do.

Transferred to Norfolk, NE- June 2014

Wyatt was transferred from Ogallala, Nebraska to Norfolk, Nebraska this week! Here is a little information about Norfolk for those interested!

Norfolk is located in Northeast Nebraska in Madison County in the Elkhorn River Valley, 112 miles northwest of Omaha, 121 miles north of Lincoln and 75 miles southwest of Sioux City, Iowa. U.S. Highways 81 and 275, and Nebraska Highways 24 and 35 intersect in Norfolk. Norfolk is only 15 miles from Madison, Nebraska, the county seat of Madison County, which is governed by a three-person Board of County Commissioners. Norfolk accommodates several branch offices for Madison County as well as a separate State Highway Patrol Center and serves a 23-county area.

Norfolk is the economic center for an area encompassing six counties. Basic economic activities of Norfolk are manufacturing, farming (both livestock and grain), education, retailing, and wholesaling. Manufacturing employs over 4,059 persons. Norfolk is the major retail trade center for Northeast Nebraska.

On July 17, 1866, a three-train caravan of prairie schooners, carrying 44 German families from Ixonia and Watertown, Wisconsin arrived at the junction of the Elkhorn and North Fork valleys where they were attracted by the rich land open for settlement. These pioneers were joined by others from Wisconsin, and formed the community that later became Norfolk.

In 1881, the Village of Norfolk was organized. The settlers proclaimed “North Fork” to be their permanent post office address, named after the river, but suggested “Norfork” as the simplest compounding of “North Fork”. Postal authorities thinking the word had been misspelled, changed the spelling to “Norfolk”.

Some Highlights: 

Johnny Carson is from Norfolk, NE. He graduated high school there. There is a cool theater there in his honor!

So i was transfered out to Norfolk We live with members out in Hoskins with 280 people we live with Larry and Marry Balaski they are a wonderful family to live with.

So this Morning 6-30-14 things were normal until 8 when we got a text from our District leader asking if we had gotten a take shelter alert then i find out we are in a TORNADO warning 2 seconds later my companion comes running in as the Sirens are going off it was nuts we got in the dungen and waited it out and about 30 minutes later we got out to see what the damage was well not much lost a few branches off of the tree but for the most part we could not see anything. so we resumed the rest of our normal activites like cleaning and such got finished with everything we needed to then we headed into town to go shopping with the other elders and then come to do Emails.


Last week P-day we went out with Jakes father -in- law Don Baker and helped him Fix some Coralls for his cows on a place he is renting out so we got that done then we had to go check the water found the pump and got it running then we hiked out to fix a fence the wild life broke then we headed home.

Tue- We had dinner with the Holts Family which was good had chicken alfredo and strawberry pie was very good.

Wed- Went to District Meeting for the last time and had a good time with everyone took pictures of it then we went to lunch La Has ce enda went to the Western store and to Goodwil Helped a guy load up a desk he bought then we headed home we tried to see the Hauns the family we helped move accross the street.

Thur- We got told i would be leaving so we started packing and packing got stressed so we had to take a break and get something to eat then we continued packing then we had from 6 to 9 to say good bye to everyone we could got most of everyone called those who would be gone or not home.

Fri- we headed out to North Platte so me and Elder Postma could take off to the transfer point and due to there great timing well we were late sadly and yet things worked out anyways well i made it to Norfolk at  10 with Elder Sharp a new missionary then we met Elder Wilson and Hansen our companions.

Sat- we went out to Pilger to clean up the mess of the Tornado that destroied the town but it was cool to get out and help clean up it was crazy to see the destruction that happened i wish i could send pictures of the mess it made but cant.

Sun- went to church and found out no meeting well jokingly i told elder Hansen it would be funny if someone didnt show up if they made the New missionarys speak to fill the time we had not a good thing to say cause it happened the three of us spoke haha then we sang in the choir it was fun though love the new ward. sorry out of time but Love ya all hope everyone is doing well Love Elder Lott

Tue- We went to dinner at the Holts home and we were able to help Bro. Holt with putting in a Garbage disposal, and offered to help him with his car the ignition modual quit again.

Wed- We went to District Meeting and Elder Kunzler gave a training on how our understanding of the Atonement make us want to share the gospel with others. He used a horse analogy. After that we grabbed lunch and headed to Arthur to help  Ryan Cone prepare to AI cows ( Artificially Inseminate) then after that we moved a few Bulls and had a roping game of horse with him again but left to get home in time for curfew and got to see a crazy sweet lightning storm on the way.

Thur- We went to Keystone to help Kat she needed some stuff moved out of her extra bed room so we got a bed and two dressers to bring to her and moved everything out of room but the bed and dresser in then we left and had a visit with the magee's where we found out Brody had been called out to Colorado on Storm clean up since the storms came through and knocked down 3 miles of power lines.

Fri- We went into the Saddle shop to help out and got to do a little for him but him mom invited us out to her husbands birthday and. we went and saw the Brawleys and had a good talk with them we shared Alma 7:23,24 it was good.

Sat- we rode up to the Cones with Bob Ryan's dad and we rounded up the cows with a little problem with some cows going through a fence but got them back together and separated the Calf's and bulls from the cows i was the one getting them to the shoot and i had a crazy one brake a fence she tried twice but i fixed her the second time we did a total of 130 cows then we ate moved them to another field then we all sat around talked then we came home. We stopped by to talk with the Jeffers when we got there a storm rolled over and the power went off for 2 minutes and we had a wonderful talk with them.

Sun- We rode to church with Greg yes he just got back from rehab and has been sober for 40 days he finally got to take us to church. we also had and investigator come to church Anna she came and it was great she said she enjoyed it very much and she is looking forward to coming again. we stopped by to see how brother Holt was doing he did not come due to a sinus infection. then as we were out walking these two guys ran after to talk with us well we did not know they wanted to talk with us but they ended up catching us and we had a good talk with them we hvae them both Mormon.org cards Well i am doing well i hope everyone is doing well also well this week is transfers so eveyone be ware i may be leaving Ogallala so if anyone is sending mail please send to the Mission office address so if i am moved they can get it to where ever i am at and i will let yall know were i am next week thanks Love Elder Lott

Well this week was good so lets see if i can remember everything.

Tue- we went out to Pam's and we worked one of her stud colts which was fun things started off quite wild but by the end of things we were able to walk up and pet him not a lot but enough that we called it a day with that. then we tried the Hornkohls well they told us they companie and to stop by later in the week.

Wed- was Zone Training so the whole zone gathered for some crazy 3 hour meeting but they trained on some good things most of which my companion and i were already planning to be doing this week so we felt good about that after our meeting we got lunch and then headed home then that night we went to see the Magee's well Bro.magee was the only one home due to his wife went home to Utah so we thought he might need a visit.

Thur- We went to help this couple Cody&Zane they needed some Cactus removed well i thought they were going to be CACTUS no they were baby Cactus so we cleaned a 5 yard area on then in like 3 hours then we grabbed dinner then went to see Jordan he was getting ready to go back to Minnesota for a Buddy's wedding so it was good to catch him before he left.

Fri- we went into Jakes shop and visited with him and his parents for a little while before Ryan Cone called and told us he was finished Branding well he picked us up and we headed for his place he has been trying to pump out a lake out of some grass he want to get hayed so the ditch he has been pumping through has been braking through so we put some pipe together to by pass that area of the ditch that had been washing out quite a bit lately. then we Tagged two calves for him had one little bugger get through the fence so we had to catch him which we did finally then after that we played horse using the roping dummy which was a lot of fun then after dinner we watched Ryan and his two buddies play some Blue grass which was cool i got to play his Banjo and Mandolin.

Sat- we had a service project at Kat's to cover her roof which is leaking really bad but we just put tarps on cause it was supose to rain and well everyone told us we cant put tar on it if its going to rain well it didnt rain util like 9 at night but it worked out well i think. we saw anna she told us he has been done smoking now and has not had one for four days and has no desire to anymore either and she is reading her book or Mormon but she would not be able to make it to church but she it going to start telling people she can no longer do things on Sunday cause she is going to church.

June 9, 2014

Mon- after helping Bro. Pancheri load his bike into the back of his car we loaded up some fishing gear and hit the water i caught a 12 inch Large Mouth on a jig and fake lizard.

Tue- Our District leader was supose to come down so we could do exchanges before district meeting well we had no mile to make it so he had to bring us to be able to make it well he called and said he was going to be late so we went to dinner with the MaGee family we had steak and baked potato's which were so good. We dug a small fire pit for Sister Magee to use for a party on Thur. Elder Postma and Markert didnt make it to our appartment until like 9:40 so after curfew but we let them in.

Wed- got up was getting ready for out meeting when Elder Kunzler opened the window in the bathroom to have some lady say hello she finally knocked she wanted out help removing Kaktus well we took her number to call here about it. D-meeting was good we went to lunch with Bro. Lunsford we had chilly dogs which were good. then we went to help with some service project cleaning out some bushes. then we came home and had dinner with the Holts well postma and Markert didnt leave in time to make it home so they had to spend the night again.

Thur- we went to pams to help trim up on her horses hooves which was not to bad until her horse tried to lay on top of me more than once but we got her some what worked out of that after a long trip in the round pen.

Fri- we went into jakes  shop and was helping him take apart a few saddles and then took one of his sewing machines apart to put in a ladys truck she bought well while we were there we saw a Highway Patrol vehicle go by with some sort of a armored vehicle behind it with 50cals on it no joke!!  but we had some crazy rain storm come through and put down a few inches of water. got to meet a JW named shorty 3 time meeting him.

Sat- we went to help jakes dad with a branding well what we thought was going to be 1 turned into 3 by the end of the day but it was a lot of fun to be at.

Sun- no L.A came to church or investigators but out ride left us at church so we had a 30 mile walk ahead of us but Bro. Hirsh came he also brought 2 dogs with him and his mother so we had to ride with a dog in the back of the car well come to find out she had this nasty sore on her side which got my companions shirt all nasty with blood and puss but we made it alright luckily but we had a wonderful lesson with Henry and Dianna we gave them both a Book of Mormon and Restoration pamphlets and in all i think things went really well and i am excited to see what comes about hope everyone is doing well Love Elder Lott

This week was good here it goes.

Mon- We spent P-day helping a family Move across the street from where they were renting and it was nice the Jade told us that she wanted to be Mormon when she in High school because here Cheer leading couch was one and the other kids who were seemed like there lives were so much easier but she asked some good questions and then that night we went to branch Presidents House and had dinner with them and his parents and a couple of other familys form the Branch we all played Coub which is that Block game we have but throwing under hand is a lot harder and but it was fun.

Tue-We went to help Bob Flood out in Keystone he needed some help moving a Bed some old Wagon Wheels and a washer and dryer but we gotten it all done.
 had a dinner appointment with the Holts and Bro. Holt called to tell us thast they had gotten stuck at the Lake in the sand so he was going to help pull them out and so dinner would be a little later than planned.


Wed- we had district meeting and the AP's came due to a ET emergence transfer happening in McCook but it was nice to see them after that we went home.

Thur- We went by the Saddle shop and Jake was sick so we talked with his mom for a little bit and so we helped her with a few things and then she had a friend stop by and they asked us to eat some of the cake so we talked and had a good visit with them both.

Fri- We Helped the Hauns finish up with moving they are the ones we helped on monday we went and moved there beds and a few other big things for them but it was nice we got to see them again they said they wan to have us over some time for dinner so we will see what will come of our helping them.

Sat- we went by and saw the brawleys and we talked and we asked if they would try to make it to church on sunday they said that could try but they wouldnt promise anything but after that we were walking down the road and met their neighbor who had just moved here three months ago and so we helped them with a little project they building a patio for grilling this summer so we helped up together there fence to give them some cover and after they took us to dinner and we talked and they asked us all sorts of questions so after we asked if they would like us to come by and teach them more they told us they would and so we hope things work out.

Sunday- Alaina did not come to church this week but we had a good meeting we road with Bro.Teter and we got pulled over on the way to church which was exciting you would have to know him to fully understand but it was good he did not get a ticket. Then that night well i had a visitor stop by the Apartment my good friend Lucas Pancheri my first Companion he had to come Registor for school so he was visiting everyone before they moved on to Curdis which is out by McCook    
on and man i was shocked when i opened the door and he come running in but man i sure enjoyed our short visit well i hope everyone is doing well Love Elder Lott

Mon- usually would be P-day were we shop and laundry and a few other things well this week we spent it driving to North Platte from there we went to Grand Island were we spent the night with a little 5 hour car ride with Elders who got mad at each other and tried choking the other one out didn't work after that excitement we played Ultimate Frisbee in the grass behind the apartments then couldn't sleep due to the people above us were moving furniture around all night and bumping music so 5 came really early.

Tue- We got up and hit the road to make it to Lincoln to make it to our Zone Conference and after a little confusion we found the Church building and i got to meet by Brother Elder Bliss

​ who goes home this transfer but it was good they talked about Planning out our futures and a lot about familys we studied the Family Proclamation to the World. Then we jumped in the car for another 5 hour car ride back home and we stopped in Grand Island and we got our stuff and while we were waiting in the parking lot we ended up catching a rabbit

​the best part about it was watching everyone run away from the nasty little guy and my Zone Leaders wouldn't let be bring him home with me so i gave him to the Grand Island Elders to keep for me.

Wed- we decide to take president Weston's challenge and went to Grant to build faith by Tracting so we did we got there set off and got chased by a dog talked to a lady who was not to interested knocked a few houses then we were walking down the road and saw a lady spraying her Flowers and a guy who was filling buckets with grass and not wanting to get sprayed with water we decided to try the guy filling buckets well the Lady with the Hose yelled at us to come here so we walked over and she sprayed us a surprise she was baptized in South America and we had a good talk with her and she told us to come back and teach her Fiance then we came home happy.


Thur- We Help Ann she is a care provieder for a lady we visit so she asked us if we could come by and mow her lawn for her so we did that and did a few other cleaning things. we went by to see the Magees who got home from Utah and they had a good visit back home their two year old was shocked to see my new companion which was kinda exciting to see his shock. We went to see Jake and found that had talked to a guy about us coming out and Helping him with a branding on saturday.

Fri- we went out to Keystone to help Kat she brought down a truck load of stuff and a dog kennel we moved for her then we talked to Bob to see if he was still needing our help he did but was sick that day so we decided to wait till later when he was feeling better.

Sat- We went to Aurthor Which is in the Sand Hills found the Ranch we were looking for and Met Ryan and Bob Cone then headed out to the area we would be branding in which was a fun drive through some off road but they rounded up the cows and we started separating Cows and Calves then went to work wrestling Calfs which was fun the weather was super nice not to hot but just right after we got finished with the first group is when the problems started they were rounding up the second group when they started having runaways and it was cool to watch them rope or try to but they ended up getting them all done and caught. When it was all said and done we did about 280 calves then we all went back to the house ate like Kings and moved a shout for a guy then headed home.

Sun- Was great we had another Less Active Come Alaina Wright came to church with her boy friends daughter which was good she had a good time we went and saw the Brawleys and was happy to see them come and Elder Kunzler gave a talk which was good on Conference and Modern day revelation

Well this week was good I got to Go to my favorite little big town called Lexington or AKA Mexington.

Well Monday we drove to Lex and when we got there the AP's had already beaten us its funny how they always seem to be on time or early every other time than on transfer day so it was a quick good by from there. Where i would be staying with Elder Edwards

Tue- First we went to a less actives home to help move some scrap wood form the ramp they took out in the front of the house because i have a truck so we did that then we took some other junk over to the dump and then went out to Johnson Lake to try and visit some of the Investigators and Less Actives that were there so we went out and we got to see a couple but not everyone was home or able to have us stay we did see this crazy thing were a woman was living in a garbage can to get away from her kids which is sad and crazy and weird. but it was not to bad.

Wed- Was district meeting which was in away strange not having to one leave so early and not having to travel out of town for the meeting but i was lucky enough to get to give a training on how we can make our message more meaningful my centering our message on Familys and it went very well. The other training was on Researching our Ancestors  then they asked everyone to share their family stories they were supose to memories for Zone Training this week.

Thur- We had Calls coming from President Weston to tell us who our comps would be and if we were training well Elder Edwards got a call but i did not get one so we went out to Gothemburg to help Bro. Sanders out on his ranch which was fun we ran some Electric fence and some Barbed wire and got rid of some unwanted trees for him. then when we got home from that one we went back to eh family who we moved the wood for to move some sand and found out they wanted us to take out there whole front yard and move the sand to get dirt which is silly cause its is super good soil already so it didnt work out for us but we got fishing licence so fish the pond they live by and Elder Edwards caught a good size Large mouth bass which was fun.

Fri- we got a call saying we had to meet the transfer van in Kearny so we jumped in the truck and tried to find the place they were hiding at which was a big apple easy to see if it wasn't behind the other stores and on the front of the building but i found it and got my comp Elder Kunzler who is form Northern Utah from a ranch out there his folks run so this is home and headed home stopped and ate with the Branch Misson Leader then came home and unpacked.

Sat/Sun- we went around visiting people so Elder Kunzler could get familiarized with the area and people. Went to church didnt have to tell his stories to many times over again but had a good day Anna and Alaina both bailed on us Alaina's boy friends daughter was sick and Anna slep in which should not have happened due to i set an alarm for her which woke her up the last two weeks she didnt come so oh well will keep  working on them both  well hope you all have a wonderful week love Elder Lott.

Well here's a glimpse's of what we got to do this week.

So Monday- we decided since it was such nice weather we would go to the Golf course and go hit a few balls at the driving range heres how it went

Tuesday- We got a call from a lady named Sonia who wanted help from us to clean out her Strawberry patch well we raked just about everything out of it for her not so sure she will have us back over ha-ha Just kidding we did a good job she said it was wonderful. After that we took off to Pam's Place to help finish up the Corals for her horses after we got done we went home changed cloths and went to the Holt's for dinner  since elder Bosen was leaving they asked what he wanted was home made pizza. Then we were going to go over to the Magee's for a blessing but he was not home from work so he asked us to wait a day.

Wed- We yep you guessed it went to Zone Training in North Platte which was good we had training on the importance of  following up when we leave commitments and watch a video Called 'DAYTONS LEG'S' which was super good if your looking for something to lift you up for the day thats a great video. Then after that we went to Hershey to help Bro. McConnell with some fencing work he had for us to do and we got half of the holes dug the Barbed wire laid out and all the post set out before the rain and stuff made us quite for the evening so we ate with his family and Sister McConnell made Home Made Pizza which was super good so we raced home got cleaned up and went over to the Magee's to give Brody a blessing before he went in for his Bone graft and had a rod put in his big toe because he couldn't move it.

Thur- We went into the saddle shop and had just missed the tore he gave to his daughters 2nd grade class but while we were there we watched as he put a new seat in a saddle some one brought into get some repair work done on it after that we went to see Brother Teter who we had not seen since Sunday night he took us to dinner to Dairy Queen after that we went to see Anna and she told us she would be coming to church on Sunday and i set an alarm on her phone to make sure she didn't sleep in again. Then we went to see Jordan an investigator and we talked with him cause we hadn't seen him for a week or so as well which was good played some cards which was fun.

Fri- We were going to take a bed and a dresser out to Kat's place but she called us and told us not to come so we Tried Bob Flood but he told us he didn't have anything to do either so we did our Deep Clean of our apartment which was good to get done before we had to be out of town so we went to see the Brawley's who we hadn't see for a little while as well they offered to feed us so we ate with them and talked about coming to church when it warms up cause he doesn't want to have car problems on a cold day then we went to see Pam at Denny's cause she wanted to feed us for working on Tuesday but since we had eaten already we just got Blueberry milkshakes which were really good then we went by the Jeffer's to see when they would like us to come over to Skype on Sunday they were having their sons birthday party since he was home from Collage so they told us to call them after church and they would let us know.

Sat- well as you can see we went to Bro. McConnell's for Branding so we got there worked the Cow's first gave them their shots and Vaccines then we started on the Calves but i gave my job to Elder Bosen and helped Wrestle the Calves which was fun and hard only ended up with bruises on 85% and then things got heated up and nuts were a flying literally of my body so not to bad then they had us over for dinner again after then we wanted to catch Drakes Graduation party so we headed for there and when we got there it was all over and just cleaning up what was left out.

Sun- Was kinda nasty we had rain all day and Anna cancelled on coming to church due to the weather being to cold for her neropathy but we had a good time we had Fast and Testimony Meeting was good lots of good things were shared then we headed home and went to the Jeffers so we could Skype and after a little confusion we got things going and it was great to see everyone Well i hope everyones mothers day was good and hope everyone is doing well Love Elder Lott

Well this past week was good but slower that we planed and wanted it to be but we made the best we could out of it so here it is!

Mon- well we got a call from Don baker (Jake's father-in-law) asking if we could help him move some stuff from his wife's house ( an assisted living home) well i couldn't tell him NO cause i am always wanting people to ask for our help so we went and helped him in a torenches down pore of Rain and we went to load up a old book shelf which didn't fit in his trailer so we took that back in and loaded up a couch and took it to his house and then the Holt's told us due to the weather they wanted to wait to move stuff on Tuesday.

Tue- We got asked to help Sister Bates clean out her garage and take a load of stuff to the good will trailer so we cleaned out the bed of the truck so there would be room for everything and headed over when we got there we called he she came out opened the Garage and we see 4 boxes in the middle of the floor she tells us that's all i have for today and 2 were not even full of stuff like 5 idem's is them but we loaded them up and took them to the Good Will trailer that came down from North Platte so we got done with that job and went over to the Holt's and no one was home so we thought they must be at the other house waiting for us went there still no one so we called and they forgot to tell us that they wanted to wait again for Wednesday so we went home changed and went to the Brawleys and visited with them.

Wed- Well like usual we were headed to North Platte for  District Meeting and we were able to enjoy a training by Sister Gullage which was centered around the Priesthood which turned out fairly well then we went and got Little Ceasars Pizza for lunch took it back to the church and ate and talked for a while then we all had to depart ways and head home so we got home and got changed and went to help the Holt's again and this time we got there and yep you guessed it they were home yippee so we ate dinner we had Crunch Raps she found on Pintrist which turned out really well and they had a mouse running around too which made the night Fun for us haha i got to get a pan out of the cabinet to make sure there was no mouse luckily no mice were in there but we get ready to go move stuff so we got to the house and moved a treadmill, a table, a mirror to the house and had to move an old TV from the basement which was easyer than we made it on ourselfs but we got it done then we moved the couches from the Basement to the living room up stairs then I found a wad of something that kind looked like a mouse so play a trick with all i will say is it worked really well.

Thur- We were supose to help Pam Allen but before that Don Baker called and wanted us to help him so we agreed to so we tried round two on the Book case with a horse trailer which was not quite tall enough to stand it up in so we had to lay it down and then put a bed in also and took the bed to a storage spot he had some other stuff and took the shelf to his house. then he took us to Lunch at Front Street steak house which was good then we went to Pam's and she wasnt home so we tried her phone no luck so we waited for an hour and a half before heading back to town where we stopped to help Jake in the shop he was making a pare of shap's so not to much he had for us to due but he asked if i would sew them for him but i let him do these ones then we had two Branch missionarys come down and take us to dinner and then we took them to meet more people in the area and Branch it was fun to take them to meet people.

Fri- we were going to help the MaGee's with there garden at 10 but Don called again and asked for some move help for about an hour so even though Elder Bosen wasn't feeling well i made him help Don but then he didn't want to help them and chance getting them sick so we cancelled that and had a sick day on the nicest day of the week which stunk but what do ya do.

Sat- We went to Stake Conference which we had to be in Kearny for that meeting and we left here at 1:00 due to some worrie that we would be late if we didn't from our ride Bro. Lunsford and made it early but wasn't bad at all we as the North Platte Zone got asked to give a musical number Called to Serve but it was good then after conference we made it home luckily before curfew.

Sun- We went to North Platte for the second part of the meeting and was late to that meeting due to our Ride and some construction work being done but was able to make it to most of the meeting. Well i hope everyone is doing well. Love Elder Lott
