December 15, 2014

Mon- We did our deep clean and the usual laundry and stuff then went in got a car wash then i handed out 3 He Is The Gift cards to the lady working in the window of DQ was fun then picked up the Spanish Elders and went and did emails then did shopping finally went to the Church played some volleyball then had to go home to have a meeting with the Balaskis.

Tue- We went to the Orphan Grain Train and did some work there we were suppose to unload a truck but it didn't come in so we loaded boxes and stacked pallets then we went out with Jared shakespear for a while he was leaving on his mission on Wednesday of this week so we knocked some doors and tried some Less actives then we went and got some McD's for dinner got to meet a sweet family there gave then a book of mormon i tried to teach there 3 year old about jesus but she didn't rally want that to happen so we gave them a book of mormon then we left adn had a lesson with the Reinke which was strange but they said they would come to church this week.

Wed- we had District Meeting and that was really good we had some great training on the Enabling power of the atonement oh we had District breakfast before our meeting we made waffles Elder Powell got an Oloft waffle maker for his birthday from his uncle so we used that and another one the spanish elder had after we took some pictures as a district then we talked about our christmas zone conference activity we would be doing. then we went to the YSA activity that night and had cake decorated surgar cookies and i took pictures with everyone cause i though i would be leaving then we came home.

Thur- was sad we got a text telling me to start packing my bags so i did got most everything packed quickly then we went out and ate with the spanish elders got some whiskey creek i got a 20 ounce porter house steak and we had smores and talked Elder Powell and i took some pictures with a polar bear which was fun. got our hair cut then came home finished packing.

Fri- had to get up at 4:00 loaded up everything into the car and left for omaha at 5:30 to be there at 7:45 we made it on time saw some friends and got to Meet Elder Benitez my new companion from Timpie Arizona then we loaded up the truck headed home got in unloaded and did weekly planning then went out saw a few of our less actives tried a couple investigators and then that night we had dinner with the Brians who is a baker has a sweet brick oven.

Sat- went back to the Brians to help with some service we had to trench around the bakery and so we started well the ground was not level so we leveled it well it was also Frozen it was 50 out side but ground still frozen so we broke ground literally then trenched some then we hit the sewer line had to dig that up then got the trencher stuck in the trench they wanted to retrench a spot not a good idea then we came home cleaned up went out and saw sister Golden a less active had dinner with her then went out and tried a coulple of towns out side of us about 17 miles walked around saw a new family that just moved in did some tracting then came home.

Sun- went to church and had a meeting with the Branch Mission leader then we had Priesthood then sunday school then sarament meeting had some good talks on preparing for missions and also serving those around you then we went out our dinner cancelled on us but met a sweet family not members but we are going to do our best to change that well hope your all well love ya Elder Lott.
P.S our house we live with there house is build into a hill so there roof is grass and thats where they garden at.





Well as you know i am in Blair i am still the DL yes. We live with members as well its sweet the house is built into a hill so they have a garden on for a roof which is fun we have a good sized branch about 60 to 70 people or so which is good funny thing so there was a guy at church from Idaho this last Sunday and as he walked in he asked me if i knew a Ted Lott From Blackfoot and i told him it was my grandfather is last name is Burkes i will try to find out more info for you next week but i love this area so far Saturday we went to to help a family who i building a bakery in there back yard so we dug a trench and they accidentally hit the sewer line so we had to dig that up as well a lot of digging ended up with 4 blisters have not had to work this hard for quite some time was nice to do it though.
