this week was interesting not a ton of crazy things but sure did have a good week.
Monday- we did not have our truck back like we were told we would be getting but found out they had to replace the light because it had cracked and it would be an extra day or two so we got a ride to Paxton with the Branch President to have dinner and then I taught with Drake the 3 lesson who is preparing for his mission this summer so its fun to go and do that as we will again to night after that we came home and talked with a couple in our building for about 45 minutes as they sat out side and enjoyed the wonderful evening but had a good time.
Tue- Was so exciting we went over to Bro.Teters so that we could fix his stairs I was able to fix the one of three steps seeing as how the other two were broken in half and noting to nail them into place with then as we sat talking for a little while I got a phone call saying that our truck was done and we could come by and pick it up so Bro.Teter offered us a ride over to get it we didn't denied him of that because it was raining and we didn't want to walk all the way across town in it again so he took us over and I signed the check got our keys and away we went was nice to be driving again. that night we had an appointment with the Holts family that moved here 2 months ago from Preston, ID with there 2 year old had a good time taught them about Tithing and Fast offerings, just fun to be able to teach them.
Wed- was good we had an appointment with the Jeffers a couple who moved here from Cheyenne, Wyoming a few years ago and when they got here they stopped going to the church which is sad but when we were there he did tell us if he had to choose a group to associate with he would choose the Mormons but had a good time visiting with them then we left. Went to see John and Cristina who will be getting married in a years time she is not a member but we will try to change that but we went over and read the book of Mormon with them more so him she said her dyslexia was to bad and I told her she was full of it and she could read if she really wanted to but we didn't make her. After that we went to see the Heflens found out there house may be getting bought which was a surprise there granddaughters dog was almost stolen too from there back yard but they didn't end up getting away with her. Kim heflen is on dialysis 3 times a week so he want feeling well when we were there.
Thur- we had zone training so we went to North Platte and had our meeting which had a lot to do with working with members and how its better for us and the investigator or Less Actives to have some one to Fellow ship them and things then we got to see the Assistants to the President who were late and so we went out to lunch with them had a good time I had to brake into the Zone Leaders apartment to so elder bosen could get his sunglasses was interesting I am not as good at it as others I have seen but I did get us in then we headed home had dinner with John and Cristina then talked and left and saw greg read from the book of Mormon with him for a half hour then we went to see the Burnsides she had to go to work so we talked to shad for about an hour had a good talk with him then we went home.
Fri- we went to see our good friend sandy ha-ha ya but we talked with her and she still just talks about wanting to get back to Texas she is crazy after a blessed visit from her we went to see Bro. Teter and as we talked he asked us if we wanted to go Dutch for dinner? Well some one didn't know what Dutch meant and but things worked out also I cleaned his head lights cause you couldn't see anything with them barely the road right in front of him but they work a ton better now so we got Chinese and then we went by to see the Heflens again since they are on his home teaching list so we saw them and then we tried sister bates she wasn't home so we saw the Brawleys and my friend alex she is so funny she always looks in my suit pockes and pulls everything out so I can pull them out of her ears but didn't have anything this time and they told us that Brian there son may get out of out of jail even though he stabbed some guy but he needs out so we will see we are planning on seeing him this Thursday.
Sat- We went to see the Magee family the one who got shot well now he is walking around and doing well but his in laws came down for spring brake from Lehi Utah we had a good talk with everyone had some good hunting stories to share and some amazing pictures as well to go with them but after them we saw john and Cristina who happened to go for tattoos while we had been gone can you guess what he put on his fore arm...... CTR that's right and he loves it what a guy after a very lengthy visit we departed ways and we stopped by sister bates had a good talk with her then we went home.
Sun- church was good although a stake member didn't show up to speak it was a good meeting in all we had Greg come this week as well which was good he told us that when he was there he didn't think about Beer, or Cigarettes but as soon as we left the thoughts came to him so I hope he was able to hold off on them again. We saw anna and she is going to quite smoking again for the third time which will be nice for when we see her then we had to go see kat we are going to help her with some yard work this week when we are in North Platte so that should be good but Love you all hope your doing well love Elder Lott
