Well this week sure has been exciting for sure now we will see if I can remember it all.
Tue- We were able to help the Brawley's as there son Dale was moving into his new house so elder bosen and I drove to Paxton where we unloaded two storage units which included of course a nice heavy piano so that was the last thing in the trailer and the first thing in the house which they made sound heavier that it was but don't get me wrong it was heavy it took 4 of us to get it in the house. then we just brought in all the smaller things so it went fast.
Wed- was district meeting we went and did inspections at North Platte's apartment which they passed after cleaning ha-ha kidding but we were taught about the importance of receiving a witness of the book of Mormon everyday and how the first principals of the gospel govern our daily lives after words we went to Jimmy Johns for lunch then we went to McCook for exchanges and had a good time saw the Michelson family who is good friends with pancheris family so new them a little but he told me that Lucas would be coming out for school there in the fall which is exciting I miss that guy but anyways stopped by another family they talked a lot about getting ready for being married in the temple!! which is great after that we headed home to McCook for the night.
Thur- we got a call from Kat so she told us we would need to pick up some food from taste of Texas BBQ so we stopped a while after they had opened thinking she would have called but to our surprise she had not and the owner had no idea so after 30 minutes they had gotten things figured out and we got her stuff and headed to Hershey where we would be going some work for Bro. McConnell we got there and got to work pulling fence post and setting corner post and then I had to sight in the post for him so using his 7mm we got that done and we started running wire out and I got voted to be the creek crosser only got stuck in the mud once and after we got all that done we had to go check a cow that he thought would calve out that night well it was 40 minutes later when we got there and she had the little guy out and he was trying to feed and she was trying to get him cleaned off then we went up to the house for dinner we had chili and grilled cheese was good then they gave us ice-cream sundays and we had to leave. then we dropped off all the food to kat and we headed home cause I was sure tired.
Fri- We were suppose to have dinner with John and Christina so we texted them at 4 asking if we were still of for 6 figured we were well when we got there they were sleeping and had forgotten that we were coming for dinner so we read the book of Mormon with them and left and saw the Burnsides we hadn't seen them for a while due to sick ness being in there home but did get in found our she quite her job the day before just was two stressed and was not enjoying it like she had hoped but she is looking for what she wants to be doing now she was running a day care then started working with mentally handicap children.
Sat- We saw the magees he as been working for the last 12 days straight so he had two days off which the day before was his birthday so they went out celebrating that then after we talked with them they were going out to look for turkeys which I wanted to go but had more important things to be doing so we stopped by to see greg who had not been feeling well for a while but told us he was doing well so we got to the do knocked and I could see him through the screen so I walked in and he was so drunk he thought we were the cops I felt bad because he is afraid of cops but after we got that all out of the way we started talking and when he is drunk he just lets what comes out of his mouth so we heard the F word more than I care to share but we then went to see the brawleys had a good chat with them and they want to have us over for dinner for helping there son move. also got a call from the holts asking if we could teach her sunday school class so we did even though it being short notice.
Sun- we went to church speakers were good I gave the opening prayer and then got yelled at by a 9 year old for not blessing the Holts in there time of need but we taught two kids about Jacob and Eusa was tuff wont lie now know how all those teachers felt when I was that young but had a good day then we went to McCook and when we got there they were having an appointment with a guy and he was shy so he would only sighn to us well for about 10 minutes then he started talking to us and by the end when we left he told me I had earned his trust which was good to hear just love meeting new people hope everyone is doing well Love Elder Lott
