Well I will try to make this week as crazy as possible but here it goes!
well Tuesday was good we got to go into the saddle shop with Greg and he was working on his saddle he had made in saddle school so we helped him a little and talked with Jake who owns the shop he was putting a saddle together for a guy and making a cell phone case had a guy come in to order a pair of shaps but I was just glad to be able to see greg in and doing something besides drinking away his life. But Later that night we had a dinner appointment with the Holt family we had a great dinner and then we taught them the Law of Chastity which as you could imagine was just a blast to teach some one but it was not as bad as I always thought it would be but good experience for us then we headed home after that.
Wed- we loaded up cloths for the next two days as we would be staying in North Platte for a while but we loaded up and headed off we got there a little early so we stopped by the zone leaders apartment and then we left to District meeting which was on why we need to receive a spiritual witness of the book of Mormon by Elder Postma and then the next one was why we need to use the book of Mormon to resolve peoples concerns By Elder Bosen but they were really good after we went to lunch at a Mexican place and got steak tocos which were really good then we went on splits with the zone leaders I went with elder Lambert we went tracting we did get to place two cards in case we could help these two guys out some time. they were splitting wood and they took one look at us and said we were not dressed to work but I tried but we shall see if we have anything come from them but after that we ate dinner with the Branch mission leader and his wife was nice to see them both she started a new job recently but after dinner we went with a member to visit a Less active David Rice who is crazy!!! He told us how he was going to have to kill his brother who threatened to kill him and he showed us how he had a weapon at every door and window kinda scared me but I did make it out a live this time not sure I will go back out there again soon.
Thur- we helped Kat she needed a room cleaned out for their son to stay in when he is not on a train so we came over she took us to Dennys for lunch and then we went to work we loaded up her truck she tried to make me drive because I am the only one who had drove a trailer but we cant drive other peoples vehicles so she drove and we net her at the back and moved everything in for her and then she went back to North Platte we talked with Bob Flood who we are going to help some time this week when its nice with burning a pile of branches and taking some junk to the dump. then we went and moved a plant at Anna Ham's house then went home.
Fri- We helped the apartment manager clean out apartment #11 who when cooking dinner turned the oven on to 500 Degrees!!!! and then left the apartment for over 2 hours so he through them out so we had to go help him clean it out and moved some of it over to Gregs apartment he moved in to our building which makes it nice to visit him now. After that mess we cleaned our selfs up and went out to see the burnsides he told us he was sick and that Zack their son was not feeling well either so we didn't get to visit them that night did see the Brawleys and sister Bates the Brawleys were suppose to be having there kids move otut but do to the weather Snowing all day we didn't get to move them but this week we should be.
Sat/Sun
We had dinner with Anna and we had enchiladas after that we went over to see if john and Christina were still planning on coming to church and they told us they were after that we tried to figure if greg was coming too and if we were going to need a ride to church or drive but it worked out that we would just ride with brother Teter also.
Church was good had an investigator Christina first time being at church in 11 years so that was good have not yet seen them to see what she thought of it but seemed to have enjoyed it a lot after we went and saw Kiaya /Ray they are both members from Idaho Rigby and Idaho falls which we had a good talk with them she was going to come but had to come a shift for a girl who didn't come in and he had to work as well but we will see if we can get them both off Ray has come once since we have been here so we will keep working with them but love you all hope Love Elder Lott
