Well this week was just wonderful this is what happened.
Mon- we had a Nerf war with Elder Benitez he picked up a gun so we could have some fun then we went over and had a bigger war with a member family who had like 6 guns that was nothing but a good time and some tears too but only of joy!
Tue- we had the Deer Creek Elders come out for a blitz of the Area which was fun had a good time getting to have twice the work done and lots of extra people getting tried and seen then after all the fun we crammed 4 elders into a small little room now that in and of its self was quite a time.
Wed- We had Zone Training so we got up got all of us ready and headed out for Omaha got to the trail center and had the meeting I even gave a training on how teaching the Restoration helps invite people to repent and how our personal Repentance Helps us be more powerful Teachers. so it was good. After we went to lunch had a good time visiting with friends. Then we headed home and stopped an saw Greg White he is a Less Active we have been working with we talked about working on getting him to the Temple and he is excited now we just need him to start coming back to church. We went to our Dinner appointment with the Bryan family we made pizza and it was good he has a sweet brick oven we cooked them in and the food was excellent.
Thur- We went back to the Bryan's so we could help with some work he had to do on the Bakery and so we got most of it done and it was very cold out side too but we had fun after we got done we took a little walk to the Frozen creek and played on the ice his kids were not as thrilled as we were but they did have fun. After we went home changed and headed back out and tried a couple Formers and then had dinner with Steve Bryan had a good meal there and a short message and then had to get home.
Fri- We did some weekly planning which was great then after we went to our investigator joe and Kelsey who we had a good lesson getting to know them and gave them both book of mormons then we set up our next visit. We also saw sister Pelts and read 1 Nephi 17. after we went to see a less active they were not home so we shoveled the drive way for them then we were going to go our to Arlington but our appointment called and canceled with us on our way out there so we came back and tried more Formers.
Sat- we went over and saw the Roadenbaughs they are a Less active due to some health problems that she cant make it and he cant leave her home with out a care provider so we finally got to see him and visited and had some good laughs they are a sweet family. Went and tried the Reeds this week they were taught for a time they are friends with a member family so we will see them on Tuesday evening but we went out and saw all we could seeing if they would be at church and everyone said they would be there.
Sun- went to our early morning meeting with branch mission leader then we hung out the church then we had a good turn out for church not all that we had been expecting but we were quite full which was nice. All really good talks and lessons had a good meal dropped off by a member for us. We went out and gave the Sacrament to two familys saw a couple of investigators helped the one hook up his two tvs in his truck then came home for the evening.
