Well this week was amazing so here we go.
Tuesday- all day was filled with service we walked around town shoveling snow for the people we have been working with finally got to talk with the hirshs they have been in Cali for the last week and are going back this next week.
Wed- we had a good little snow storm come through which the snow was super light and it just blew all around we got out shoveled our complex and by the time we were done it had all blown back in so we went out to do some family's did about 3 and thought we should do it before they get home cause it all blew back in by the time we were done. them the zone leaders called and asked us if we could help them take back the truck they were told to take away form the McCook Elders so why they lost there truck was due to the fact they went 1,000 miles over what they were given to use for the Month so we went up and took it back for them and stayed the night with the zone leader.
Thur- We had District meeting and as sad as it is it was my companions last one so we had Man Cakes for breakfast which was good with bacon and eggs had a short training then went to DQ for lunch and after that the zone leaders and my companion and myself headed to Omaha stopped in Lexington were I stayed and the district leader form there jumped in and they went to Omaha for Leadership meeting and I stayed with Elder Shipley a Spanish elder which was fun we had a good couple of days together.
Fri- We went out and had a couple of appointments we had to be to the first one went well it was very good because I was able to talk and understand what was going on because it was in English the next one was a Spanish appointment so I felt like just a fly on the wall while he talked to the guy we did eat dinner that night with a family they had a dinner at the high school that night she had gotten two tickets so we ate with them and then we had to meet the Zone leaders at Walmart so we could switch back and headed back to North Platte spent the night there.
Sat- We decied to stay in north platte for the day for a few reasons there was going to be baptism that day so we wanted to be able to attend that went with the NP elders after that and met Sarj and had a good time talking with him after that we headed to Sutherland for our branch activity that was happening that night had a fun time playing games with the branch then went home stopped by the Magee family and dropped off all the treats we got given from game night.
Sun- we had a early morning meeting so got to church and after that we were all making our way to the chapel when some one said the Magee family is out side and sure enough it was them for clarification he is the guy who got shot at thanksgiving but they came and it was a wonderful thing for them to be there they did leave after sacrament but it was good for them to come for that cause the sacrament is what they needed the most for the whole experience. after church we stopped at the Branch presidents house and we ate lunch there and then there son and I did teach the Plan Of Salvation which went very well.
